A technology is researched in the research panel and usually unlocks an ability or modifier.

Research

Technologies are randomly rolled and the tech tree is non-linear, therefore techs are not predetermined.

Attributes

Base Cost

Base cost is the minimum possible cost, on standard duration. Base cost increases by 50 for every technology that is researched, and also increases by 300 per technology level, starting from 300 (i.e. technologies start from 300)

Weight

Roll weight is the likelihood of rolling a technology. When techs are rolled, all other unlocked tech weights are also considered.
